We like to feed the birds in our garden. I use the term "we" loosely.
William is the one who actually feeds them. Once a week he takes out his stepladder and big bag of birdfeed. He climbs up and down that ladder three or four times to reach and fill the feeders hanging from the trees. He balances precariously on the garden wall and this morning he did it in the pouring rain.
We recently bought Nyger seed to attract some different little birds to the garden and its working. We've seen goldfinches and chaffinches so far that we didn't see previously.
Oh, and as soon as he finished this little task the rain stopped. Typical eh?
TTFN,
Kathleen.

I often run to my feeder in my PJ's in the morning. Glad I'm the one with the camera!
Hi Kathleen, everything is so green and lovely in your neck of the woods. I bet those little birdies are grateful for such a bounty. Your outing for William's birthday looks like it was a wonderful day for all. And that Family Bible - what a treasure! Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
