These pictures of...

... my Mother and Dad were taken on one of our long ago family holidays in Ireland.  The beach would've been one of the resorts on Dublin's coast.  Black Rock Sands, Portmarnock or Bray maybe. Those are the ones that I remember going to.  

Looks like the day started off well.  Paddling in the sea.


Sitting close together on the sand, their arms around each other.  What a beautiful picture, a lovely memory.


Then something went wrong.  I wonder what it was?  Or, maybe it was the other way around and the day started off not too good. Then it got better and ended on a happy note.  We'll never know but I love these pictures which ever way it was.

Mother, lovely photos, these brought a lump to my throat- how lovely that they still sat with their arms round each other after nine children. Am sure they're doing the same thing now too. xx
