After all the grey weather we've been having lately it was a pleasure today to be able to take a walk in the sunshine.
The sky was blue and all was well with my world.
Not so much with Muffin's though. I was merrily stepping it out enjoying the blue skies, fresh air and scenery until I felt resistance on the end of the lead. I turned round and there's Muffin. Standing still. Not budging an inch. He'd had enough and we weren't even a third of the way round! There's just no pleasing some dogs is there? Needless to say I made him carry on.

A breath of spring here on your blog today with that nice fresh header pic and the beautiful lake. And, tee hee, I've never seen a dog look so sulky and cross!
Oh my! That little Muffin is absolutely precious. I bet those little legs poop out on him pretty fast! If I had gorgeous surroundings as you do, I would be out walking too. Hard to get motivated around here. Wishing you a most wonderful day. Tammy
Oh my...he is one cute doggie! :)
Did you end up carrying him in the end? ;-)
Maria.
the weather's the same here. Just breathing it in feels so good and muffin....tooo cute
Kathleen,
The look on Muffin's face made me laugh out loud! Too cute! I really like you header picture...it is beautiful. Great Simple Pleasure.

Oh- I love that beautiful photo-the blue of the sky and water and the white houses!
It reminds me of a couple of large prints we have by Frank Sherwin. Do you know him? He was a painter who traveled over Britain and did posters about the different counties etc. We don't know which area we are looking at in our pictures but they look like Cornwall and Scotland to me :-)
Muffin does look determined to stop in his tracks lol!
What a wonderful pleasure it must be to walk along the water's edge!
Thanks for sharing, Kathleen.
bless you..Trish
Awwwww, Muffin is adorable. My kind of dog! ha! Lovely photos, too. Thanks for your visit to my blog and comment, Kathy.Loved having you stop by. Susan
Ohhh that sounds wonderful to have a nice and beautiful walk. And look at that sunshine. We still have lots of snow right now. But every once in a while we get some sunny days. *grin*
And what a sweet little friend you have to go on walks with.

I think our dogs are separated at birth...http://didyoubringyourcamera.blogspot.com/2010/09/dont-call-peta.html.
We have a big Boston Terrier and a little one. Looking at your previous post where people mistake your dog for a puppy has happened to us many times. Our dogs are 30 pounds and 15. Most people assume a mom and baby, but they are both males, 12 and 5 years old. Dogs add much joy, don't they?
I didn't realize your name is Kathleen with a K. *grin* My middle name is the same, with a K. I love the name Kathleen. It was my grandma's middle name. Thank you for stopping by.
Blessings in Him<><

So cute, Kathleen. He looks like he was avoiding that little mud puddle up ahead. :)
