Cragg Vale is just about a 15 minute drive away from our doorstep and it's one of my favourite places. It's so peaceful and ideal for a walk in the crisp autumn air.
This morning that's where you would have found Caroline, Charlie, Nicholas and I. Victoria had taken George to play in a football match so they couldn't come with us and the men were all busy building a shed up at Caroline's house.
Charlie and Nicholas - I asked them to stand together so I could take a nice picture of them both. They stood together alright but not once did they look my way! Never mind, maybe next time.
Nicholas collected a bag of stones to throw in the river.
Our weather is definitely autumnal now and I'm enjoying it. I'm just hoping we get a lot more autumn before we get the extra cold winter that is being forecast.
More on Cragg Vale can be found in this post from last winter.
Kathleen.
Thanks for taking him. I need a copy of some of those photos. x
ReplyDeleteGood luck ever getting boys to look at the camera at the same time; or even smile properly. My boys sure don't want to cooperate in that regard anymore. There's always some foolery going on when a camera is pointed at them. :/ You are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. 15 minutes from us in either direction is just more of the same and it's not much to look at. Have a great week. Tammy
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun, indeed.
